The Writing Process
Week 2 Quiz
HW: Enjoy your weekend.
We sit down Ms. Nakada asks us to take out our agenda to check it. Then, she tells us we have a four day weekend. After she checks the binder reminders, Franco reads and then picks the next person to write. Ms. Nakada talks about School Trip: diversity, and religion. Then she talks about the difference between the way French people and American people do things. After that, she asks us to get out our reading journal to give us points and to check it. She tells us about the meaning of the song, "What's Goin' On?" by Marvin Gaye saying only love can conquer hate and you shouldn't go into war.
After that she tells us to write down today's lyrics which talked about how class is jail and the library is freedom. Ms.Nakata also tells us we have a quiz next week. Then, she tells us to turn to the table of contexts in our notebooks. After, we discuss the writing process, and she tells us tips on how to get good grades on projects, rubrics, prompts, and samples; she also says we could look at old stories we have written for past classes. For revising, we should re read, clarify, or add to the story before submitting. Then, class ends.
