Writer's Workshop: Letters
Week 1 quote Question
We started off by coming into the classroom tired from lunch. We all came in and sat down and got out our binder reminders and started writing down the agenda. Ms. Nakada gave us a minute to breath and relax while we wrote our agenda in our binder reminder. Then, we read over and corrected the last person's blog. After that, Ms. Nakada asked us to take out our reading journal and our School Trip book, and we went over what we read last night and wrote down three words to describe what we read. We also went through some of the recent eighth graders letters before us we also got some quiet time to write our own letters. Soon after that, we took out our English note books again and we did quote question song lines. We went through the lines of a quote by Ralph Waldo Emerson: "To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else is the greatest accomplishment." Our question to answer was What do you hope? Finally we got excused to go to our last class of the day.
