Read or iReady or IXL for 20 -30 minutes.
Today we walked into class and took out our Binder Reminders to write the agenda. After that, we talked about the meditation video and how (like the elephant) we should take things one step at a time. Then, we did iReady. Then, we did the song of the week. "Like a Girl" by Lizzo.

Black Author Projects
For starting class, we first took a minute and wrote our agendas down. After, we started to do reader's workshop, and once we finished we listened to "The Man" by Taylor Swift. Once the song finished, Jake told me he enjoyed the song a lot, and we talked more about the meaning of the song. We read a poem, "How to Triumph Like Girl" by Ada Limòn which was about a girl realizing she had power like a horse does.

Today, we started off by entering and writing the agenda out. After, Ms. Nakada read Brian's blog because he wasn't here. Next, she chose me to do the blog for today. Then, we took out our notebooks and wrote the Reading Journals for the week. After, we took our chromebooks or books and started reading or doing IXL. After, turned to the table of contents in our note book and wrote down our Q-Q-S-L. Then, we packed up and left.

Today we came in the class and sat down. Then, since Angel didn't come to school, Ms. Nakada read his blog, and then choose me to do the blog. Then, we started doing the reader's workshop and then we did the week 9 quiz. We moved into partners for the Black Author Project and chose our subject. Then we left for the day.

Today, we walk to Ms. Nakada classroom. Then, we take a minute, and then Diego read his blog and picked me. We take out our Chromebooks and do reader's workshop. Then, we take our Reading Books. and she checked our Reading Books. Then, Ms. Nakada gave "It's Not Your Job" paper and Ms. Nakada read the lines. We took notes then we went to Lit Circles then we packed up and left.

Today we walked into Ms. Nakada's class and wrote the agenda down. Da'Riyah read the blog, and then picked me to do the blog. We took out our Chromebooks and reading journals and began reader's workshop. We opened up to the week 9 qqsl and listen to "Respect" by Aretha Franklin. The class went into their lit circle groups.

Today we walked into class and started to take out binder-Reminder and wrote down the agenda. Then we talked about Malala Yousafzai and her quote "We cannot all succeed when half of us are held back" and how didn't men let girls or women go to school or have an education. We talked about social media and media. Finally, we moved into literature circles.

Today in Ms. Nakada's class we took a minute and wrote down the agendas. Then, Riolexus picked me to write my fifth blog. Afterwards, Ms. Nakada went around the room to check if we wrote our binder reminder and check our reading journals. As she was going around the room, we were doing IXL or iReady. Then, we did the Week 8 quiz. Then, we took out our English notebooks to write down a classwork assignment called literature circles. Then, we packed up and got into our groups. Then, we left.

I really didn't care, because I was busy writing the agenda. Then, Amaya read the blog and picked me. I'd just started writing the blog when I had to leave.
